Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor’s Launch Trailer Wants You to Take Revenge

September 30, 2014 by Stephen Daly

Meet the man who forged the Rings of Power.

Yesterday, Warner Bros. detailed the Season Pass for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and revealed that it will allow you to fight Sauron who appears in the new released launch trailer alongside Gollum and of course, the game's protagonist Talion, voiced by Troy Baker.

We also see the man responsible for crafting the Rings of Power, including the One Ring, when he was tricked by Sauron. In the game Talion's family is murdered, but he is "banished from death" and sets out to take his revenge on the forces of evil.

Shadow of Mordor is available in North America now, and will be on sale from Thursday in Europe and from Friday in Ireland and the UK. That only applies to the PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions however, the last-gen editions of Talion's adventure will not be released until November 18th.

We don't yet have a review of the game, presumably because an eagle dropped our copy into the fires of Mount Doom while delivering it. You can watch the launch trailer below.
