Earlier this month, people who pledged at the $80 tier or above in Keiji Inafune's Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter were given access to a single beta level. Yesterday, a second level was made available. Destructoid's Chris Carter did a quick run of the new stage and shared his footage for all to see.
The enemy this time is Mighty No. 2, a cryosphere bot living in a water / ice domain. As Carter expressed, the gameplay is solid, but the art style is a little bland. I've commented on this issue myself as well. This game continues to look incredibly rough, so there's a good chance that some graphical effects haven't been implemented or that some character models will be tweaked eventually.
The Mega Man-esque platformer is still targeting a 2015 release on ten different platforms: Windows, Max, Linux, Wii U, 3DS, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
