Diablo 3: Ramaladni’s Gift Now Appears on Minimap

September 17, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

The rare item now appears on players’ minimaps when it drops.

Ramaladni’s Gift is one of the new items in Diablo 3’s 2.1.0 update that has players looking high and low for it due to its notable properties, which allow players to add a single socket to any weapon in the game.

Previously, when the item dropped, players were not given any indication of its location, leading many to accidentally leave the drop behind on the ground unlooted. Given the rarity of Ramaladni’s Gift, this is a pretty awful thing to happen to anyone.

To that end, Blizzard has implemented it so that when the item drops, it now displays on your minimap like any other Legendary item drop—with an orange star that’ll have your heart aflutter the moment you see it.

The screenshot above should show you how it looks in-game. You’ll never miss it again.

Unfortunately, there appears to be no nameplate for the item, so you’ll have to click on it directly to pick it up.
