There is no shortage of horror games. We’ve seen quite a few hit the marketplace each year and while some AAA video game titles tend to take more notice than other small indie titles, there are a few indie hits that also become bit hits annually. There’s an upcoming horror game that has taken plenty of player’s attention online that’s being developed by an indie developer Ondrej Svadlena called Beware.
Beware has been around for a few years now and we’ve seen demos come out. However, there is a new trailer to further hype up this game currently being developed. If you haven’t heard about Beware in the past, this is a game that puts players into a bleak world. Here players take the role of a driver that is racing around the different locations while being pursued by hostile vehicles. These can range into different types of vehicles, but overall the focus is just fleeing the area.
In the latest trailer released, we get a look at some more level environments we’ll get to drive around within. Each features drizzling rain and plenty of fog to make it difficult to see just what’s behind you or off in the distance in front of your vehicle. Meanwhile, it looks like with each death, the game quickly starts back up in a new area for players to race off within. You can see the gameplay in action within the video embedded above.
Of course, we don’t know very many details beyond that. There’s plenty of mystery surrounding the end goal of this title or if there are any more gameplay mechanics outside of physics-based vehicles. Likewise, this game is being supported through the developer’s Patreon page so we’re uncertain just when the game will hit the marketplace.
