Treehouse, Nintendo of America's localization division, did an incredible job at E3 running around-the-clock footage of the newest Nintendo games from the show floor. Nintendo is ready to deliver another such event in the form of Live @ The Treehouse, an eight-hour stream of gameplay and discussion to air on Nintendo's Twitch channel this Friday, September 12.
Treehouse will demonstrate several upcoming Wii U and 3DS games, but the main draw will be extensive coverage of the final build of Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS. The latest Smash sequel officially goes on sale in Japan on September 13, so this will be an opportunity to get one last look before Japanese gamers start blowing up the web with photos and personal impressions.
Of course, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS won't arrive for us in the States until October 3. Maybe enjoy the fruits of the Smash-themed eShop sale in the meantime!
