GameInformer has revealed new details of NBA 2K15's MyGM mode and how 2K are moving away from the virtual currency dependency of previous games for the mode.
It seems the game will move away from what we saw in NBA 2K14's MyGM mode with virtual currency no longer playing such a big role. While you can buy some things in the game with BC, your options will no longer be tied to directly to your general manager's skills.
This is a big change in that you were previously able to enhance your GM to the max at the beginning of the first season. This is because of a new system 2K has introduced in which you unlock XP points. You're going to level up, and get the opportunity to buy a new skill every time you do.
These skills include things like scouting accuracy and the level system goes all the way up to 999 which will presumably take impressive dedication, likely over several years to reach.
Certain aspects such as free agency and trades will be unlocked from the beginning as 2K wants to move away from the VC system.
