YouTuber CabooseXBL has posted a new video exploring the possibility that the Arkham Knight could in fact be a woman.
The shape of the hips and armour of the Arkham Knight suggest its possible and given the fact that he, or she, has an army of tanks to command, a voice changer wouldn't be too extravagant a purchase.
If the Arkham Knight is a woman, it would be similar to Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, the animated movie in which the Dark Knight was confronted with a new enemy and in trying to discover the motivations and actions, he discovered that the Phantasm is actually a woman by the name of Andrea Beaumont, once Bruce Wayne's love interest.
Another possibility is that Talia al Ghul, brought back to life by the Lazarus Pool, is on a mission for revenge over the death of her father, Ra's.
It wouldn't be the first time a game has done something like this, Metroid's Samus Aran was only revealed to be a woman at the very end of the game.
Harley Quinn and Catwoman have been two recurring women in Batman Arkham series but having a primary female antagonist would certainly make for an interesting twist. The Arkham Knight is an all new persona created by Rocksteady but that doesn't mean his/her true identity isn't an established DC character.
