PC users will be getting the short end of the stick with the Call of Duty Elite beta, which will launch only months after the rest of the gaming world has had their time with it.
If you're content with getting sloppy seconds from Activision, you can "try it out" some time in the fall, if not awhile later. According to Activision's social media manager Dan Amrich, you'll have to wait if you're on the PC.
Only current owners of the Xbox 360 have access to the beta, while PS3 players will have a go at it later this summer.
