Kingdom Hearts 3 co-director Tai Yasue spoke to Spanish gaming site Meristation about how Frozen would be incorporated to the game, if they were going to do it.
Tai talked about the snow mountain that was in The Land of Dragons, for Mulan. That would basically be what Frozen’s world would be like. He would also add musical elements to the world, like what was used in Atlantica, for The Little Mermaid.
Tai also shared what other properties he would like to add into the Kingdom Hearts games. He does want to add in Star Wars, Marvel, and Pixar, but also old Disney properties, similar to how they did it with Timeless River.
Timeless River is a world from Kingdom Hearts 2, based on the classic black and white Disney cartoons, particularly Steamboat Willie. Not only does this world have old versions of Mickey Mouse and Pete, but also long forgotten characters Clarabelle Cow, Clara Cluck, and Horace Horsecollar.
Tai’s last statement opens up the door to many unlikely cameos and worlds. Just to give you an example, Disney owns Mary Poppins, The Mighty Ducks, The Rocketeer, High School Musical, Operation Dumbo Drop, Cool Runnings, etc.
