Blizzard just went live with a CGI trailer for World of Warcraft’s Warlords of Draenor expansion pack. The trailer was released to coincide with the game’s release date announcement—it’s out on November 13, 2014.
With the Warlords of Draenor beta already underway, players have begun to experience the new content, which includes everything from new character models to new graphics for old locations. There are, of course, new locations for players to visit, as well.
In addition to all of the new graphics, Blizzard has introduced a new system of Garrisons, which serve as player housing of sorts for World of Warcraft players, which brings far greater potential for player customization and personalization to the game than ever before.
For those who can’t wait to jump into the fray, Blizzard is offering a one-time instant boost to level 90 for one character right away if you pre-order the game ahead of its November release. Personally though, I’d level a character to 90 manually to experience much of the game’s content and familiarize myself with all it has to offer, because hitting 90 instantly can be more than a little confusing given the variety of gameplay options available to players in World of Warcraft. Like any other game, it’s best experienced properly.
The Warlords of Draenor expansion pack is reported to have hit one million pre-orders.
