Ubisoft has released two gameplay walkthroughs for Assassin's Creed Rogue; one looking at naval combat, the other exploring land-based activities.
The first video looks at protagonist Shay Cormac's ship, the Morrigan, as it battles through the Arctic while the second, slightly shorter footage, it titled River Valley and demonstrates the game's on-foot combat.
Development of Rogue is being headed up by Ubisoft Sofia an is set during the Seven Year War in the 18th century. Aside from the Arctic, other location to explore include Appalachian River Valley and New York.
In the game players take on the role of a Templar and Haytham Kenway, son of Black Flag's Edward and father of Assassin's Creed 3's Connor, is in the game and on "good terms" with Shay. Rogue also connects to this year's other Assassin's Creed installment, Unity, but we'll apparently need to wait until the very end of the game to find out how.
It will be the first game in the series since 2010's Brotherhood not to feature multiplayer.
Assassin's Creed Rogue launches for PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 11th while Assassin's Creed Unity is bound for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 28th.
