We have new details for Dragon Age Inquisition, coming off of a recent magazine piece. Actually, these are not so much really big reveals, as they are bits that you and I may have missed.
You can have conversations with NPCs that are not really important to finishing the game, which we will dub noncritical conversations. You will see a clear dialogue bar at the bottom of the screen, and by clicking on the thumbstick, you can make the dialogue visible, or start a conversation. These conversations can lead to missions, but you can always walk away if you want to. Yep, you can always choose to be way rude and cut people off midway if they are just starting to bore you, if you wanted to.
Similarly, if you want to loot, you won’t be seeing a sparkle from them every single time. Instead you have to press down on the thumbstick to find them. And, just a reminder, they are bringing back full blown item descriptions, with the name and details and everything.
The materials you use when you craft items determine crafting levels. So, case in point, if you want to make leather armor, you start with bear skin, or some other ordinary animal skin, and then upgrade to drakeskin.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is coming to PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One November 18.
