Dying Light’s Newest Trailer Promises ‘Creative’ Zombie Smashing

August 8, 2014 by Stephen Daly

The game’s four player co-op may not help you when the sun sets.

Dying Light has a new trailer just in time for gamescom which seems to want to be an episode of Fringe given all the floating words scattered throught.

After reeling off some press praise, Techland shows us of the features we can expect from the game which matches the parkour of Mirror's Edge with the undead slaying of Dead Island. Aside from four player co-op, we can also look forward to seeing some "creative" zombie murder and customisable human characters.

Techland says: "The game offers an expansive open world, which players will be able to master using parkour-style movement. They will have a chance to use their creativity in brutal encounters as well as express their personality in shaping a unique survivor."

While the hoardes are relatively weak during the daylight hours, the tables are very much turned at night. Dying Light will be playable for both media and fans at gamescom from August 14th to 17th.

If you're not headed to Germany next week, Dying Light will be infecting PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One from February, 2015. You can check out our preview of the game here.
