Forza Horizon 5 Hits The Marketplace This November

June 14, 2021 by Dennis Patrick

Get ready for the next thrilling Forza game.

It was a bit of a surprise to see Forza Horizon 5 show up during E3 2021. Most might have expected the next mainline installment to the Forza franchise to appear which was a reboot of sorts titled Forza rather than continuing numerically. However, during E3 2021’s Microsoft media conference, it was unveiled that the next thrilling Forza Horizon 5 will be hitting the marketplace in November of this year. If you are one of the fortunate gamers out there that happened to get your hands on a new Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S console, this is going to be the racing game to pick up this year.

Forza Horizon is a bit more of an arcade-style game series compared to the original mainline Forza franchise. However, there is always something a bit different with each installment. In this game, we know that Forza Horizon 5 will be taking place in Mexico. So you can expect the various terrains to race around to mimic the feel of being in Mexico within this title. Of course, at the moment we only have the E3 trailer so we’re sure that there will be plenty more coverage coming out for this game as we get closer to its launch date.

With that said, much as expected with every Xbox first-party exclusive title, this game will be available to players at launch through Xbox Game Pass. If you happen to be a subscriber to this digital service, then you’ll get it right away with no extra costs. If you’re not already a subscriber then you might want to consider jumping on Xbox Game Pass especially after seeing just what all is coming out from their first-party studios.

For now, Forza Horizon 5 will be launching on November 9, 2021, for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms. You can check out the E3 2021 trailer for this game in the video embedded above along with some gameplay footage down below.
