The Last of Us Grit and Gear Bundle Now Available

August 6, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

A DLC that adds hats into the game is now available.

You wouldn’t think that Naughty Dog would have the audacity to release even more DLC for The Last of Us even after remastering the game for the PlayStation 4, but they’ve gone and done precisely that.

The studio has announced the Grit and Gear bundle for The Last of Us on both the PS3 and PS4’s Remastered edition, with a new selection of hats and other vanity items for the game’s Factions multiplayer mode. You can grab them off the US PlayStation Store for $6.99. They’ll be out on the European and Asian stores later.

Here’s what you get for $6.99:

Skull Cowboy Hat

Welding Mask

Fire Welding Helmet

Leather Mask

High Altitude Helmet

Bundle exclusive Hell Cowboy Hat

Also available are some new Gestures called The Gif, Oh Snap!, and Victory, which are available from today for $2.49.

In addition to these newly available DLC packs, Naughty Dog has announced that it plans to release the Professional Sports Bundle next week on both the PS3 and PS4, which includes seven new items and will be priced at $7.99.

It goes without saying that the release of these DLCs are little more than a quick cash grab, so I wouldn’t buy them if I were you.
