We have new details for Assassin’s Creed Unity.
The in-game map will be top down. I’ll warrant a guess and speculate it might even look a lot like the map Ubi has shared earlier.
Do you like your protagonists talky? Arno will apparently quote the classics and quips when his emotions get to him. Arno happens to have been an avid book reader, with a noble upbringing.
While Arno is devoted to the Assassin order, he is not quite as enamored of the order’s history, particularly its mysticism and dated rhetoric. As you can imagine, Arno does not believe everything he is told at face value.
So far, Ubi has revealed eleven co-op missions. Each of these missions last around 30 to 40 minutes.
Assassin gear will have different properties. For example, there is a hood let players disappear into crowds more quickly.
The Assassins have ‘Café-Theatre’, the game’s answer to Assassin’s Creed 2’s The Villa and Assassin’s Creed 3’s The Homestead. Each districts also have satellite cafes. Purchasing them unlocks new missions, and when you complete these missions, it changes the crowd ‘ecosystem’.
Finally, the Assassins also own the roofs. No guards or patrols up top; it’s where the Assassins get to look over their surroundings and plan out their moves.
Assassin's Creed Unity is set for release on October 28th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
