Lords of the Fallen Day One Edition Announced

July 28, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

The game’s Day One Edition will be available to all who pre-order the title.

Lords of the Fallen developers CI Games have confirmed that they will be rewarding pre-orders of the game with added missions, extra weapons, and an official soundtrack in the Day One Edition.

Dubbed the Monk’s Decipher, the DLC allows players to uncover “hidden secrets” spread across the regular campaign in each of its three worlds, and the Demonic Weapons pack adds three new weapons for the game’s protagonist Harkyn to wield in his adventures.

Players who pre-order the game will have a guaranteed upgrade to the Day One edition.

The game has been likened to From Software’s Dark Souls series of games for its hard difficulty and dynamic combat that allows for heavy environmental interaction.

Lords of the Fallen comes out on October 28, 2014 for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. There are no plans to bring the game to last-gen consoles.

You can watch Harkyn's exploits in a newly released trailer.
