Dishonored and Crimson Dragon Lead August’s Games With Gold Offerings

July 28, 2014 by Stephen Daly

Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut and Motocross Madness also available.

Microsoft has announced the Xbox One and Xbox 360 titles which will be available for free to Gold members in August as part of Games With Gold. On the Xbox Wire Crimson Dragon and Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut were confirmed for Xbox One while Xbox 360 owners get Dishonored and Motocross Madness.

Crimson Dragon and Strike Suit Zero will be available for the whole month of August. Those looking to download Motocross Madness have until August 15th to do so before it is replaced by Dishonored which will then be available until the end of the month.

Crimson Dragon was on on-rails shooter which launched with the Xbox One last November while Strike Suit Zero, a Kickstarted title, was the first game to come out of the ID@Xbox program aimed at helping indepedent developers. Dishonored was a highly acclaimed title which saw players take on the role of Corvo in the fantasy Steampunk city of Dunwall with the goal of clearing his name after the assassination of the empress. Motocross Madness is an off-road motorbike racer which uses avatars for races.

Xbox One game pre-loading will arrive soon according to Xbox boss Phil Spencer, possibly as part of the regular monthly updates for the system.
