Lords of the Fallen’s Newly Announced Day One Edition Packs in Extra Story

July 25, 2014 by Stephen Daly

Official soundtrack and three extra weapons also included.

Square Enix has announced the Day One Edition of RPG Lords of the Fallen. This limited run version of the game includes access to exclusive story DLC, extra weapons, and official soundtrack.

The story content comes in the form of the Monk's Decipher quests which task players with uncovering extra secrets as they cross between the game's three worlds, while three "devastating" additional weapons will be included with the Demonic Weapons pack.

Copies of the Day One Edition can only be unlocked by pre-ordering and are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.

While the game has been frequently compared to Dark Souls, developer CI Games has insisted that it's a fresh take on the genre.

Lords of the Fallen launches for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 31st. To accompany the Day One Edition's announcement, Square Enix has released some new screens and art work for the game which you can see below.
