If you’re aching to play Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, you won’t have long to wait as the game is set for release this October. For the impatient among you, Gearbox has updated Borderlands 2 with treats—you can dress up your Borderlands 2 characters as the main characters of Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel if you’re lucky enough to find the new skins and heads Gearbox has added into the game.
Following this week’s update for Borderlands 2, six new heads and skins have been added into the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game, all of which allow you to customize your characters to look like characters from the upcoming Pre-Sequel.
Each of the new items dresses up the game’s existing heroes as those from the Pre-Sequel, and can be collected in game as “extremely rare drops”.
- Axton as Athena
- Salvador as Wilhelm
- Maya as Nisha
- Zer0 as Claptrap
- Gaige as Moon Moxxi
- Krieg as a Scav
Additionally, Gearbox will be releasing SHIFT codes for these skins on the Gearbox blog over the next few weeks.
