Ubisoft has released a second trailer to mark Bastille Day following the 'Revolution' Assassin's Creed Unity gameplay video earlier today.
The 'Inside the Revolution' trailer's blurb reads:
"Commoners starved in the streets while aristocrats squandered the wealth of the nation. Desperate and angry, they united and revolted against the power at hand and started the Revolution!"
In the video, it's suggested that the French Revolution was orchastrated by the Templars who then formed the Committee of Public Safety, the body responsible for the Reign of Terror. This would appear to be confirmation that the period after the Revolution will feature in the game and possibly the Napoleonic Wars as well.
Arno is not related to the other assassins we've seen in past games which opens up plenty of new scenarios for future games. In the meantime, Unity will boast a massive game world and co-operative play for the first time.
Assassin's Creed Unity launches on October 28th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
