Bethesda will have a presence at the upcoming Gamescom convention in Germany this year, and with it, players are wondering whether Fallout 4 will be making an appearance at the event—just as you do.
Naturally, Bethesda’s Pete Hines, who goes by @DCDeacon on Twitter, has been quick to dispel rumors and has since denied that the post-apocalyptic RPG sequel will be showing up at the event.
In response to questions about what games the publisher plans to show at the event, Hines responded, “The Evil Within and ESO (The Elder Scrolls Online). Now you can stop wondering.”
Another day, another dream crushed. It doesn’t look like we’ll be getting any Fallout 4 details this year, judging from Bethesda’s stance on the matter—unless of course they decide to announce it at Spike’s VGA, just as they announced Fallout: New Vegas some years back. Keep your fingers crossed.
Apart from Gamescom, another event that Fallout 4 will not be appearing at is the upcoming QuakeCon convention in Dallas, Texas, which is also hosted by Bethesda.
