Broforce Gets Independence Day Update

July 3, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

The Independence Day update for Broforce adds two new bros and a host of improvements.

Broforce is getting a bro-tastic update to celebrate the bro-est of all celebrations, Independence Day. Because ‘Murica. Fuck yeah! The new update comes with two new Bros and is 33% off on Steam today through the Independence Day holiday weekend.

The update adds Cherry Broling, who hovers above the battlefield and unleashes hell from her assault rifle leg, and Colonel James Broddock, who deals exclusively in grenades and whose passion for democracy burns even brighter than his beard, are now playable.

Finnish sound designer Joonas Turner (The Swapper, Nuclear Throne) will serve as the game’s announcer, and he’ll let you know whenever a bro falls on the battlefield.

Additionally, new gameplay tweaks and bug fixes have been applied to Broforce to make the game a much more enjoyable experience. The full list of updates is available on the game’s Steam forum.

Head on over here to pick up Broforce.
