Tomodachi Life launched in the US on June 6, and according to Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime in an interview with Kotaku, sales of the life simulator have been stronger than was forecasted. This is the kind of game that you have to play to believe, but up until now, no demo has been made freely available. That changes today with the arrival of a Tomodachi Life demo on eShop, unfortunately restricted to 20 play sessions.
There was a demo prior to this one, however. Anyone who purchased a copy of Tomodachi Life was given two "Move-In" codes to gift to friends. The Move-In demo was heavily limited in features — you could only create three Miis, solve five of their problems total, and visit but a handful of your island's locations. You are able to transfer all your progress into the full version should you decide to make the plunge. It sounds like this new demo is more or less the same as the original Move-In, minus the ability to unlock a special Panda Suit earlier on.
Tomodachi Life is currently available on the 2DS and 3DS.
