This is What Grand Theft Auto 5 Looks Like in First Person

June 23, 2014 by Stephen Daly

It’s not perfect but if you’d like to turn GTA 5 into a first person shooter, this is as close as you’re going to get.

Grand Theft Auto 5 doesn't land on PC until this Autumn but there's already an impressive range of mods available for Rockstar's game and one, demoed on YouTube by XBLToothPik, lets you enter first person mode.

Playing as Franklin, the player is seen activating the mod and walking the streets of Los Santos, when he moves quickly, we see parts of his face so it's not perfect but when he pulls out a weapons and opens fire, you could almost believe you were playing a first person shooter.

The second video shows the players driving, flying, and boating throughout the city and Blaine County before walking the streets on foot and shooting cars and people.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is coming to PS4 and Xbox One later this year in addition to PC when we should expect the range of mods to explode.

Bethesda's open world RPGs give players the choice to switch between first and third person on the fly but would you be interested in played a Grand Theft Auto game entirely in first person?
