Nintendo announced a new character joining the roster of Super Smash Bros. for the Wii U and the 3DS during their E3 press conference. She is no other than Palutena from the video game Kid Icarus.
We previously reported on a rumor than came out a few months ago that outed the roster of the upcoming video game. While most of it is correct, Palutena was not mentioned in it. It seems like Nintendo was able to keep her inclusion in the game under wraps until her reveal today.

Super Smash Bros. will be released for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U platforms starting October 3rd and an unspecified later date in the year for the Wii U.
