Developer Giant Squid has unveiled a new game in development exclusively for the Playstation 4, ABZÛ.
We have few details about the game, but we do know, of course, that this game was spearheaded by Giant Squid founder Matt Nava. Matt was previously art director for Journey. As far as we can tell, ABZÛ will feature a human or humanoid exploring the deep ocean depths, interacting with aquamarine life and perhaps some hints of relics from previous civilizations. It also uses a collage-like art aesthetic, which would seem to imply it could work in older platforms, but we'll see how that plays out.
ABZÛ won’t be releasing until 2016. Until then, whet your appetite with this trailer.
