Update: GAME.co.uk also lists the collection with box art confirming Asylum, City, and Origins are all included. GAME states the collection is an exclusive, which likely means it won't be appearing on Amazon.co.uk or at other retailers in the country. It's also worth nothing that GAME refers to it as a 'Trilogy' while Amazon lists it as a 'Collection,' possibly meaning the retailers have two different packages on offer.
Original story: Amazon Germany has listed a Batman Arkham Collection for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 with the retailers claiming the package will be released on both systems this summer for €40.
The site lists the release date as August 21st, a Thursday, and the day games tend to be released on continental Europe. Following the announcement yesterday that the next installment in the franchise, Batman: Arkham Knight has been delayed until 2015, a collection of previous games would partially help fill the gap in Warner Bros' release schedule though it's a pity the games aren't coming to PS4 and Xbox One as well.
It's unclear whether only Rocksteady's Asylum and City will be in the package or whether it will include Warner Bros. Montreal's Origins and Armature Studio's Origins Blackgate as well. Blackgate was originally released for PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS before being ported to PS3 and Xbox 360 earlier this year.
You'll find the latest trailer for Arkham Knight, which focuses on the Batmobile, here. The trailer also promises more news on the game at E3 next week when we may also get official confirmation of Arkham Collection.
