Diablo 3: List of Legendary Items You Shouldn't Salvage

Legendary items aren’t as rare as they once used to be in Diablo 3. With the release of Reaper of Souls and subsequent buffs to the game’s item drop rate, Legendary items can be found with relative ease—with players seeing at least one per Nephalem Rift run.

The only problem, of course, is getting Legendary items you want to keep. There’s plenty of junk items out there, and items that you can’t use for your class or even want to. At the same time, there are tons of Legendary items that you do want to keep, especially if they’re class items for another class that happen to drop for you.

You might not know what these items are, so with that in mind, a redditor named MightB2rue has compiled together a list of Legendary items that you’ll want to keep regardless of your class, so that you can transfer them over to one of your other characters should you decide to make another class to play with.

It’s better to know what items to keep than to salvage everything, because you never know when you might find an item that’s best-in-slot for a character class.

Hwoj Wrap (belt) – good belt for jade, especially for soloing
The Furnace (2hand mace) – beastly for killing rift bosses as Jade.
Hexing Pants of mr. yan (pants) – good pants (arguably best in slot) for pet build
Gift of Silaria (1hand sword) – 5 property weapon; BiS for pets if godly rolls
Swamp Land Waders (pants) – best in slot for poison builds
Shukrani’s Triumph (mojo) – inventory swap item for running great distances
