Teco Koei announced today that Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate will be coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at an unspecified date. It is a remaster of Warriors Orochi 3, which was released in 2012. It will not only have enhanced graphics on newer consoles, but it will also have a new main storyline with additional side stories.
For those who haven't upgraded yet, the game will also be out for the PlayStation 3 and Playstation Vita platforms. The game will also have Sophitia from Soulcalibur, Kasumi from Dead or Alive, and Sterk from Atelier as guest characters. There are over 145 playable characters since the game combines the worlds of Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors.
There will also be new modes in this edition. One is called "One Warrior Against a Thousand Battles" wherein players fight 100 AI foes. Others are online and offline competition modes and a Dual Mode which blends team and card battles.
The PS4 version will support online streaming, cross saves, and cross-play. Additionally, it will also display more enemy units than the PS3.
Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate is scheduled for release on June 26th.
