Characters in The Division appear to be sporting all new patches of the SHD (Strategic Homeland Division) on their arms, which indicate the faction they belong to. For those not in the know, “The Division” refers to the SHD—an organization that all players belong to in the game.
Players who’ve noticed the patch commented that they’d like to see the patch customizable for PvP in the game. It’d be a nice touch.
The new logo follows the announcement that The Division has been delayed to 2015, in addition to the reveal that it will also be released on the PC in addition to the next-gen platforms—PS4 and Xbox One.
The game, which was originally planned for a 2014 release, will be getting an additional year of development time, no doubt to polish its various mechanics.
