Crytek has announced that the much awaited Directx 11 Patch for Crysis 2 will be available for download on mycrysis.com on June 27, a high resolution pack will also accompany the release. The patch will come to the relief of PC elitist who have been eagerly awaiting a significant increase in the visuals department.
Some users were able to download the patch from the test environment due to a leak that has since been closed. Both the DX11 and High Res texture packages require Crysis 2 PC Patch 1.9 to work. Without this patch they cannot be installed.
