Battlefield 4 players are still experiencing rubber-banding issues in the game despite DICE's latest patch which the developer claimed would solve the issue.
Rubber-banding occurs when players experience slow or stalled movement followed by rapidly moving to where your characters should be on the map. When this happens, gamers feel as if they're 'blinking' or 'rubber-banding' in the game world.
DICE vowed to fix the problem across all systems earlier this month.
However, filmspringfield and others on Reddit are reporting that the problem continues to persist with some alleing that the issue has actually worsened since the patch. Others say the problem appears to have been resolved for them and it's possible the various platforms have been affected differently.
Not all of the old servers are gone and it may be possible that by switching to a new server the issue may be resolved. Even so, six months after release no game should still be suffering from this kind of problem.
While no Battlefield games are slated for this year, we'll likely see DICE at E3 with updates on their other projects such as Star Wars: Battlefront and the Mirror's Edge reboot.
