According to one user in the Se7en Sins forum, jet packs may be soaring its way to Grand Theft Auto V in the form of DLCs based on strings of code he discovered in the game.
While it may be difficult to comprehend the technicalities, he specifically highlighted the inclusion of jet packs in the game through showing screenshots of strings of code that literally had "jet pack" on it. Interestingly, he pointed out that this didn't appear until update 1.12 came out.
If this rumor turns out to be true, it won't be the first time jet packs are featured in a Grand Theft Auto game since it has been available in past entries. A lot of people are also speculating that this could be the answer to the Mystery of Mt. Chilia wherein a myriad of symbols and pictures of UFOs are scattered around the map for players to find. It is believed that solving the riddle would lead to being rewarded with a jet pack. Most of us hope that it will also make its way to GTA Online.
