The Bayonetta franchise has a strong following. Fans can’t get enough of this hack-and-slash title featuring our favorite witch as she battles against all sorts of enemies. While you could argue that Bayonetta 2’s ending could be the end for this series, it looks like the developers are bringing out Bayonetta 3, but just what the game is about and when it will release is anyone’s guess at this point. Currently, all we had for this game is just a teaser showcasing the Bayonetta 3 title. We’re hopeful we’ll get more details and even a release for this next thrilling action title in 2021.
We’re not the only ones hoping for some more information regarding the third installment to the Bayonetta franchise. Fans have been eagerly awaiting the game being featured in some type of announcement for the franchise or series. It’s been a long wait, but at least today we can relish in one small statement from the series creator behind the franchise, Hideki Kamiya. However, don’t expect much from this statement.
Recently, Famitsu had interviews with multiple video game developers over the 2020 year and what they anticipate for 2021. Among the list of developers was Hideki Kamiya. Hideki spoke of how he knows so many fans are worried over Bayonetta 3 which hasn’t received any update since its announcement. However, the silence doesn’t mean that there is any trouble for the upcoming project.
Currently, Bayonetta 3 development is going great and the studio is doing verification of new systems being placed for the title. Outside of that, nothing else was noted about Bayonetta 3. It’s not too surprising updates are scarce due to the worldwide health pandemic outbreak. However, it’s at least assuring that the studio is still developing the game without any major problems popping up.
