Scott Pilgrim Vs The World was a hit movie and while it had a massive fan base, there was also just a bit of a following for the video game adaptation. Back in 2010, we received a beat ‘em up game based on the Scott Pilgrim series. Fans and critics alike enjoyed the game but it’s a title that wouldn’t live on very long. In 2014 the video game was taken off the online digital storefronts for both Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.
It was assumed that the licensing deal came to an end and rather renew the agreement this digital-only title was removed completely. Now with the ten year anniversary of the film and game, Ubisoft went out of their way to reach out and see if they could get the game back out into the hands of gamers once again. Fortunately, it worked as Ubisoft unveiled a remastered edition of this title that would be coming out.
We didn’t know just when Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Game would hit the marketplaces again, but it was said to be a remastered edition that would also come with the DLC as well. Fortunately, Ubisoft has unveiled the official release date and it’s coming next month. Those of you who want to either replay the classic beat ‘em up title or enjoy the game for the first time will be able to do so on January 14, 2021.
As mentioned this game will be available with the base game along with the DLC released previously. It’s also set to launch on the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia platforms.
