Dragon Age: Inquisition will have Kinect voice commands on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One according to creative director Mike Laidlaw.
Laidlaw, speaking to Official Xbox Magazine, said:
"We expect the Xbox 360 and Xbox One editions will ship with a Kinect-enabled voice command feature, just like Mass Effect 3 did."
It's currently unclear how exactly voice commands will be implemented or to what degree but Mass Effect 3's Kinect integration was fairly reliable and BioWare may look to expand user options using the Xbox One's Kinect sensor.
Producer Cameron Lee also revealed that BioWare developers are experimenting with SmartGlass – the Xbox app for tablets and smart phones – commenting:
"It needs to make sense, of course. But we want Inquisition to be an experience you can take with you everywhere – to work, the commute home, the living room, bed."
Yesterday, it emerged that Dragon Age: Inquisition will not have DLC characters due to on-disc content concerns and you can check out some of the latest screenshots here.
The game is set for release on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Hopefully BioWare will choose to make use of the PlayStation Camera and the DualShock 4's touchpad features but as of yet, any such plans have yet to be revealed.
