Titanfall has horizontal wall-running, but strangely enough, the series which inspired its parkour moves, Assassin’s Creed, does not. That may all be about to change in the upcoming next-gen Assassin’s Creed title, Unity.
According to traceur Jesse La Flair, who goes by LaFlairParkour on YouTube and does parkour for a living, the upcoming game may well include horizontal wall running.
La Flair wrote in the comments section of his instructional parkour video: "What if I told you I may or may not have worked on the NEXT AC and they may or may not have added the ability to Horizontal Wall Run in the game…”
We’ll just have to take his word for it.
Since we’re still in speculation mode, fans over on reddit’s Assassin’s Creed subreddit are speculating that the legendary Nicholas Flamel may be making an appearance in the upcoming game. Granted, Flemel lived in Paris sometime during the 14th and 15th centuries rather than the 18th century, in which Unity takes place, so he’d either have to be very old by the time we meet up with him, or we’ll encounter his relics and manuscripts instead.
