Titanfall Hackers Copying Teammate Names: Evidence is Hilarious

April 7, 2014 by Stephen Daly

Using teammate names makes it harder for hackers to be reported.

It seems Origin Titanfall hackers have discovered a way to copy teammate names which makes it difficult for other users to report them.

Reddit user gbatemper123 writes:

"I was playing like usual, then I noticed something unusual. I observed another player with my name. I thought it was a glitch, until someone suddenly accused me of hacking. This guy was using no recoil no spread and killing people across the map with a SMG. I realized this guy copied my name and then he copied two other peoples names to avoid being reported."

And he's not alone in experiencing this style of hacking, DrunkenSavior posted the below GIF which shows a hacker in action:

Titanfall releases tomorrow on Xbox 360 and you have a look at the game in action on the console here. Have you encountered anything like this in Titanfall?
