A new update for the PlayStation 3 Edition of Minecraft sees the addition of all new Sony-themed skin packs, courtesy of 4J Studios.
The huge patch brings the game up to Title Update 14 (TU14), and also adds Emeralds, Ender Chests, Zombie Villagers, and more. Cauldrons fill up in the rain, wolf collars can be dyed, and pigs drop more porkchops, among many other changes.
The update has also been released alongside the launch of two skin packs. Skin Pack 1 includes new player skins from four Sony titles—Uncharted, Killzone, Sly Cooper, and Heavy Rain. The Battle and Beasts skin pack includes koalas, a Cleopatra look-a-like, various cavemen, and an octopus.
In addition to skin packs, new texture packs are also launching that allow you to change up the look and feel of the game. There’s the City Texture pack, which goes well with the skins from Heavy Rain, and the Plastic Texture pack, which makes things look like plastic.
