We have for you now the trailer for the latest batch of Call of Duty Ghosts DLC, Devastation. Devastation will have four new maps, a new weapon, and a new chapter of the Extinction Saga, called Mayday.
We won’t spoil any story elements in Mayday, but what we will share is that it will come with two new cryptid species for you to take out. The Seeder walks on two legs, spouts acidic liquid from its mouth, and can lay larvae that turns into protective mutant plants. The Kraken seems highly similar to the mythical sea creature. For now, all we know is it’s a tentacled sea-dweller.
You can fight more cryptids in Unearthed, a map set in a cryptid meteor excavation site. This map is a remake of Dome and Modern Warfare, and has Nightfall’s Venom-X weapon hiding inside it.
In Ruins, you fight in a triangular Domination map, in a Mayan temple complex. There are two flags on either side of the temple, and one placed smack dab in the middle.
In Behemoth, you are in a giant earth excavator saw, meaning your are high off the ground. Obviously, you need to watch out for your footing.
Finally, Collision places you in a very small map, a container ship that has crashed into a bridge. It’s a pretty straightforward run-and-gun map, with once again one flag placed squarely in the middle, in easy sniping range.
You can check out the full trailer below. Devastation is set for release April 3 to Xbox 360 and Xbox One, and May 3 to Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and PC. While Treyarch and Activision are loathe to talk about Wii U’s Ghosts DLC, it seems likely that system will also get the content at some point in the future.
