Japanese game developer Tomonobu Itagaki, best known for the Dead or Alive series, has teased plans to finally reveal the long-delayed Devil’s Third sometime this year.
The game, which was originally planned for an early 2013 release, was since delayed when unexpected costs related to the development of its engine prompted its then-publisher THQ to ditch it. Fortunately for the game and its developers, the rights to Devil’s Third were transferred from the publisher to Itagaki’s Valhalla Game Studios before THQ shut down.
The designer wrote on his public Facebook account: “As already announced, we’ll finally reveal “Devil’s Third” this year!
"You can see that we've upgraded our title logo. I wanted to go for the metallic feeling of the Breitling that I love so much. But I don't really wanna tell you exactly why, sorry;D"
