Respawn Hunting Down Cheaters in Titanfall

March 13, 2014 by Josiah Renaudin

Those who try to take the easy way out in Titanfall will get punished.

After spending years and years developing a AAA product, it has to be frustrating to find that a certain segment of your audience is bypassing the established rules in order get an edge. That seems to be what’s happening in the wonderful world of Titanfall, where aimbots and other common cheating tools are giving certain players an advantage on the battlefield. Thankfully, Respawn knows that this is going on, and recently took to Twitter to warn anyone participating in these less-than-honest tactics about the consequnces.

"Finding cheaters in Titanfall? So are we. We're logging them now and they will be rooted out shortly," Respawn said on Twitter.

You might have bought the game, but things won’t go well for you if you’re ruining the experience for other players.

There are plenty of Easter eggs and glitches within this Xbox One and PC product that won’t get you banned from its servers so really, there are safer ways to do silly things.
