Smosh Games has released a “brutally honest” fake advertisement trailer for Nintendo’s long-running go-kart series of games, Mario Kart. The trailer, replete with movie trailer guy voice, goes in-depth into the series’ shortcomings and failings.
The trailer lays the truth down and it does it thick with no small amount of humor and cutting wit, and gave me a newfound appreciation for the folks at Smosh.
Does anybody remember two-man karts, or how Nintendo unceremoniously removes and adds new features with each iteration of their franchise? Also, who needs to worry about skill when there’s a blue shell in play?
