PlayStation Home still exists. Let that sink in for a second.
Really, that might be the biggest piece of news I’ve read today. What do you think that place even looks like anymore? Just a whole bunch of people dancing and asking each other on virtual dates? Anyway, also know that Sony’s social service will be getting Trophies thanks to a new update launching tomorrow, marking its first update in quite some time.
PlayStation Europe community manager Chris Owen broke the news on Twitter, where he cited March 12 as the date for when Home version 1.86 goes live.
PlayStation Home v1.86 coming on Weds 12 March, introduces Trophies! *ping*

The support will apply retroactively, but it’s unclear at this time what sorts of activities will actually net dedicated Home players these rewards. The actual details are expected tomorrow, but I’d like to think that those who are still playing this 2008 experiment should get a Platinum Trophy as soon as they sign back in. That’s some serious dedication to something I spent 20 minutes “playing.”
