miHoYo is developing a new action role-playing video game known as Genshin Impact which is slated to release in the spring of this year. Since this game has come out there has been plenty of comparisons between the upcoming title and The Legend of Zelda franchise. We even received some new gameplay footage earlier this year which should help showcase what exactly the game can offer players.
Overall, this is a fantasy video game where players take the role of either a male or a female character known as the Traveler. In this world, gods are given chosen individuals the ability to control an element of the world which should come in handy for the Traveler as players begin a quest to seek out their lost sibling. It looks like the gameplay will be somewhat similar to the Tales series, in that players can freely explore the open world with a party of four characters at a time.
The development studio has taken to Twitter to showcase when players can get their hands on a copy of Genshin Impact. According to the Twitter account, the game will be available starting on September 28, 2020, for the PC, iOS, and Android platforms. This is just a little over a month away before you’re able to enjoy the game. However, that’s not the only platform confirmed to have the video game available.
We know that Genshin Impact will be available for players to enjoy on the PlayStation 4 platform as well later this fall. We’re uncertain just if this game will see a release on the Xbox One or Nintendo Switch just yet. In fact, we’re wondering if the title will get supported on the next-generation of console platforms as well. For now, all we can do is wait and see.
