Shadowrun Returns comes out with its 1st DLC. Introducing Dragonfall, available now on Steam.
Dragonfall is set in 2054 Germany, where a new Flux State controls Berlin. The Flux State is something of a stable anarchy, where anything goes and what matters is having the right connections. You may not want to live there in real life, but it’s just the kind of world Shadowrunners thrive in.
Even in this Flux State, conspiracies and ancient prophecies can thrive. You and your crew will be running around, trying to verify if the Great Dragon Feuerschwinge may be alive and waiting for the right opportunity to reappear.
This story will play out in over 12 hours of gameplay, in the new backdrop of Berlin. Of course, there will be new portraits, weapons, cyberware, enemies, and so forth. One of the best things about this DLC is it will allow you to now save anywhere moving forward. Dragonfall will also feature high resolution environments and a soundtrack from the composer of the Sega Genesis version of Dragonfall, Sam Powell.
Interesting enough, Dragonfall also comes with a new level editor, based on Steam Workshop. The Shadowrun Returns editor will have access to assets from the original game and the DLC, and developer Harebrained Schemes promises advanced programming skills will not be necessary.
