As part of Battlefield 4's player appreciation month, an effort to make amends for the issues which have plagued the game since its launch last year, DICE is currently offering players the chance to make up for lost time or catch up if you're new to the game with Shortcut Kits.
Premium members will have access to additional Shortcut Kits in addition to those available to all Battlefield 4 owners. The first kit is available now until February 24 and offers Hand Guns Battlefield 4 as well as the Premium Shortcut Kit: DMRs while DICE will offer Shortcut Kit: Grenades Battlefield 4 and Premium Shortcut Kit: Shotgun from February 25 to March 4.
Console players need to go to the in-game store to access their Shortcut Kits while PC gamers can head over to the Battlelog's store section. PC Premium players can access their content through the link at the bottom of DICE's announcement of the shortcut kits.
Battlefield 4 has been hit by severe difficulties across all platforms since it was released last October for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 and in November for PS4 and Xbox One. DICE suspended development on all of its projects until the game was fixed leading to EA's shares briefly slumping.
DICE is also developing Star Wars: Battlefront and a new Mirror's Edge.
