The Havenly Sword CG movie is set for release soon and to celebrate there's a new trailer which you can view below.
In the trailer, hosted exclusively by IGN, we see protagonist Nariko making short of work of numerous enemies and a overly dramatic voice over which really doesn't add anything to the video.
We're told by the narrator that "There's a new girl in town and her name is Nariko. You'll wanna be on her good side." The trailer itself is called "Why Nariko is a badass".
The Heavenly Sword movie is based on 2007's Ninja Theory PS3 game of the same name and stars Fringe actress Anna Torv who voiced Nariko in the game. Its been made by Blockade Entertainment, the studio that's also make the Ratchet and Clank movie.
If you think this latest trailer is missing something, here's footage of the movie Sony released in October of last year.
While most fans would prefer a sequel at least Sony is still making use of the franchise and if the movie is a success they might be prompted to revisit the franchise on PS4 or Vita. Regardless, the Heavenly Sword movie launches digitally and in cinemas in select countries this Spring.
