Free-to-play online game Transformers Universe has rolled out a new trailer and is now what developer Jagex calls a "MOTA" or massively online tactical action game.
Players take on the role of a Transformer commander who oversees a squad of bots and recruits for battles against other gamers.
Jagex has committed itself to a summer launch and you can up for the game's beta on TransformerUniverse.com as either an Autobot or a Decepticon. The game was first announced in 2011 and Jagex reportedly laid 13 staff off last year amid concerns as to the quality of the game internally.
